This is a wonderful opportunity for those already working with Ann to continue their personal development. New comers and beginners will be very welcome. Art is inspiring: to be able to render form, to give shape to ideas, to bring into existence the illusion of reality through painting and drawing seems like magic. Some part of it is magic, but the rest can be taught, the basic approach to it all, to seeing, is applying relative measurement, learing perspective, foreshortening and handling space and this is what we shall be applying on this course. Working with colour follows from basic drawing. Painting on this course can be in watercolour, acrylics or oil paint. Remember it is all to enjoy. There are stages as in everything and you can make good progress in a short space of time if you apply the basic formal elements. The course is a chance to try a new medium or mix media and is suitable for beginners or advanced students. Ann specializes in using a structured approach to help students gain confidence.

The centre has boards and easels although you are very welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Fees

This course is a full cost course and receives no subsidy.  The cost for 10 morning classes of 3 hours is £300 or 1payable in advance. Saturday all day classes are £60 for a whole day.

There is a maximum of 10 students on each course so everyone receives will receive all the attention he or she needs.
